Travis Teasdale Announced as CFMOTO South Africa’s First-Ever Brand Ambassador for 2026

CFMOTO South Africa has officially announced that Travis Teasdale will represent the brand as its 2026 Brand Ambassador, marking a historic milestone as he becomes the first-ever CFMOTO Brand Ambassador in South Africa.

At just 28 years old, the Hilton, KwaZulu-Natal native brings with him an extraordinary 16-year professional racing career and a résumé that places him among the country’s most accomplished off-road riders. Currently competing in the fiercely contested E2 class and Gold Class Championship, Teasdale races under the Beta South Africa / CFMOTO banner with the backing of Dragon Energy, Plews Tyres South Africa, Synergy Cables, Leatt and TBR Suspension.


Teasdale’s national success is nothing short of remarkable. A 10-time South African National Champion, he has also claimed three National Hard Enduro titles, two ImPi Enduro Championships and an Inner City Enduro Championship. His dominance at home has been matched by consistent performances on the international stage, where he has competed against – and beaten – some of the world’s toughest hard enduro specialists.


Among his standout global results are second place at the 2024 Roof of Africa, third at the same event in 2022, second at Sea to Sky in 2022, sixth at the Erzberg Rodeo in Austria in 2018, and podium finishes at Hells Gate in Italy with second in 2017 and third in 2018. He is also a three-time Erzberg finisher, a five-time Romaniacs Gold Class finisher and has completed the Roof of Africa an incredible eleven times – a testament to both his resilience and world-class capability.

Teasdale joins CFMOTO at a pivotal time for the brand’s growth within the adventure segment. He has spoken highly of the brand’s momentum and the strong team culture behind its local and international expansion, noting the professionalism, energy and sense of family within the organisation. He has also expressed a clear ambition to help pioneer and promote what CFMOTO’s adventure machines are capable of achieving.


For 2026, Teasdale will campaign the CFMOTO 450MT, a model rapidly gaining recognition in the adventure category. Having already spent significant time on the machine, he has been impressed by its comfort, capability and adaptability. With minor set-up refinements, he believes the 450MT is more than ready to tackle demanding adventure and hard-adventure terrain, and his plans extend far beyond traditional touring routes.

The partnership will see Teasdale showcase the 450MT across a spectrum of riding environments, from everyday adventure touring to increasingly technical and unconventional terrain. Several major projects are already in development for the year ahead, with the aim of demonstrating the bike’s versatility and pushing its boundaries in real-world conditions.


In addition, Teasdale will host a series of rides and his established Adventure Bike Training Camps aboard the 450MT, offering riders the opportunity to sharpen their skills under the guidance of one of South Africa’s most decorated enduro athletes.
