THE 2026 Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT DELIVER A WEEK TO REMEMBER

The 2026 Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT delivered an extraordinary week of racing, records and history around the legendary Mountain Course — and Moto Rider World was there, courtesy of Mark Huckerby, to capture the action.

From the moment the opening race got underway, the drama never stopped.

Johnny Stewart emerged as the star of an incredible Manx Grand Prix campaign, claiming four victories in a single week to become the first rider in history to achieve the remarkable feat. His wins included the opening Road Racing News Sportbike race, the Glover Law Supersport, the Carole Nash Junior Manx Grand Prix and, finally, the Okell’s Senior Manx Grand Prix.

Along the way, Stewart produced a series of record-breaking performances, culminating in a historic fourth victory and an unforgettable celebration on the Mountain Course.

But Stewart wasn’t the only rider making history.

Paul Jordan successfully defended his Historic Junior Classic TT crown after a dramatic race that saw Michael Browne set a new lap record before a puncture ended his challenge.

Michael Dunlop was once again at the centre of the Classic TT action, claiming multiple victories — including a sensational Formula One Classic TT win in which he smashed the existing lap record with an incredible 129.078mph lap.

Dunlop went on to add victory in the Lightweight Classic TT before returning on Tuesday to claim the Senior Classic TT, securing his third win of the 2026 Classic TT.

There was also history for Joe Loughlin, who set a new outright lap record for a 400cc machine in the Ultra-Lightweight Classic TT, while Rob Hodson became the first-ever Junior 600 Classic TT winner in the inaugural running of the new class.

And then there was John McGuinness MBE.

Thirty years after making his Mountain Course debut, the TT legend returned to the top step of the podium with victory in the Historic Senior Classic TT aboard the Team Winfield Paton BIC 500 — adding another memorable chapter to an already extraordinary career.

From record-breaking laps and dramatic battles to historic victories and emotional celebrations, the 2026 Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT had everything road racing fans could ask for.
