Suzuki Rider Safety Day Delivers Another Successful Event at Red Star Raceway

Suzuki Motorcycles South Africa and Red Star Raceway hosted another successful Suzuki Rider Safety Day this past Saturday, 26 September 2026, welcoming riders for a day dedicated to improving riding skills, building confidence and promoting motorcycle safety.

With plenty of riders taking part, the event provided an excellent opportunity for participants to refine their riding techniques, learn new skills and gain valuable experience in a safe and controlled environment.

The popular initiative continued to demonstrate the importance of rider education and practical training, giving motorcyclists the opportunity to develop their abilities and become safer, more confident riders. Whether improving existing techniques or learning something new, participants benefited from a day focused on getting the most out of their time on two wheels.

The event was held at Red Star Raceway and was open to B, C and D Class riders, with an entry fee of R300 per rider. Lunch was included in the entry fee, allowing participants to enjoy a full day of riding and training. One important requirement remained in place for all attendees: no headlights, no ride.
The collaboration between Suzuki Motorcycles South Africa and Red Star Raceway once again highlighted the value of providing riders with opportunities to improve their skills away from the unpredictability of public roads.

A big thank you went to everyone who attended and contributed to making the day another success, as well as to Suzuki Motorcycles South Africa and Red Star Raceway for continuing to support rider development and motorcycle safety.
With another event anticipated, riders were encouraged to follow Suzuki and Red Star Raceway’s social media channels for announcements about the next Suzuki Rider Safety Day.
