KTM has pulled the covers off the next generation of its LC4-powered icons – the 2026 KTM 690 ENDURO R and 2026 KTM 690 SMC R. Both models bring aggressive new styling, upgraded technology, and the raw punch of the world’s most powerful single-cylinder engine. Whether you’re slicing up a mountain pass or tackling technical off-road terrain, these machines are built for riders who refuse to compromise.

2026 KTM 690 ENDURO R – All Terrain. All the Time.

The 690 ENDURO R continues its dual-sport dominance with significant updates for 2026. At its heart lies the latest Euro 5+ compliant LC4 single-cylinder—now with a revised crankcase, clutch, and stator cover, plus a redesigned oil system for better reliability and performance.

Tech gets a major lift too, with a new 4.2” full-colour TFT display, redesigned switchgear, a USB-C charging port, and a bright LED headlight. Advanced rider aids now include Cornering ABS, Cornering MTC, and the all-new Dynamic Slip Adjust (part of the optional RALLY Ride Mode), giving riders terrain-adaptive traction control on the fly. Sharper ergonomics and updated suspension components keep you comfortable and in control on any surface.

2026 KTM 690 SMC R – Stop Growing Up

The benchmark in Supermoto just got even sharper. The 2026 690 SMC R sports an aggressive new look and the same updated LC4 engine as its Enduro sibling, delivering improved performance and efficiency. Suspension refinements enhance agility and road feel, making it as deadly in the twisties as it is on the track.

Tech highlights include the 4.2” TFT display, upgraded switchgear, lean-sensitive Cornering ABS and Cornering MTC, plus selectable Ride Modes and customizable ABS Modes. With KTMConnect smartphone integration, you’re always plugged into your machine.

Availability

The 2026 KTM 690 ENDURO R and 2026 KTM 690 SMC R will arrive at authorised KTM dealers from September 2025.
