By MRWadmin

QJMOTOR has officially launched its flagship SRK 921 RR in South Africa, introducing a genuine litre-class supersport motorcycle that combines high-performance engineering, premium components and advanced electronics at an exceptionally competitive price of R179,995.

Designed to take on the established Japanese and European competition, the SRK 921 RR arrives with an impressive specification that promises to shake up the local Supersport segment by offering riders exceptional value without compromising on performance or technology.

At the heart of the SRK 921 RR is a high-revving 921cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four engine, developed in collaboration with MV Agusta. The powerplant produces an impressive 127.9 hp (95 kW) at 10,000 rpm and 93 Nm of torque, delivering the kind of exhilarating performance expected from a modern supersport machine. Power is transferred through a six-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper clutch and a factory-fitted bi-directional quickshifter, allowing for smooth, seamless gear changes whether attacking a favourite mountain pass or pushing hard on the racetrack.

Backing up the impressive engine is an equally impressive list of premium hardware. Braking duties are handled by Brembo Stylema calipers with ABS, while fully adjustable Marzocchi suspension allows riders to tailor the bike’s handling to suit their individual preferences. The SRK 921 RR also rolls on sticky Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres and features an adjustable steering damper for added stability during spirited riding.

Technology plays a major role in the SRK 921 RR’s appeal. Ride-by-wire throttle control, multiple riding modes and traction control work together to provide confidence across a variety of riding conditions, while a crisp 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity keeps riders connected and informed. Aerodynamic winglets not only give the motorcycle an aggressive, race-inspired appearance but also contribute to high-speed stability.

Despite its impressive performance credentials, the SRK 921 RR remains practical enough for everyday riding. With a seat height of 835 mm and a dry weight of 209 kg, it offers an accessible riding position while maintaining the sharp handling characteristics expected of a modern supersport motorcycle.

We recently had the opportunity to visit KMSA Distributors, the official South African importer of QJMOTOR motorcycles. KMSA is one of the country’s most respected motorcycle distributors and is also responsible for importing and distributing brands such as Kawasaki and SYM, along with several other leading products. That backing gives prospective QJMOTOR owners added peace of mind, knowing they have the support of an established importer with a strong reputation for warranty support, parts availability and after-sales service.

Having spent time with several motorcycles in the QJMOTOR range, we have come away genuinely impressed. From what we’ve experienced so far, the overall quality and reliability of the motorcycles have been excellent. Build quality is solid, the fit and finish are impressive, and the use of premium components throughout the range reinforces the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional value. More importantly, every QJMOTOR we’ve ridden has simply been fun to ride, combining confidence-inspiring handling with enjoyable performance.

The arrival of the SRK 921 RR marks another significant step forward for the brand in South Africa. With its powerful inline-four engine, premium suspension and braking components, comprehensive electronics package and aggressive styling, it has all the ingredients to become a serious contender in the supersport category while undercutting many of its rivals on price.

Priced at just R179,995, the QJMOTOR SRK 921 RR represents one of the most compelling performance motorcycle packages currently available in South Africa. It offers riders the opportunity to own a premium, high-specification supersport without the premium price tag typically associated with the segment.

We certainly can’t wait to get our hands on the new SRK 921 RR for a full road and track test. If our experience with the rest of the QJMOTOR range is anything to go by, this flagship model has all the makings of a motorcycle that could surprise a lot of people.
