Hello readers, and welcome to Issue 63 of Moto Rider World — your go-to South African digital motorcycle magazine.

This edition brings together a powerful mix of action, insight, and genuine riding stories, spanning both our local roads and the global racing stage.

Leading the charge is a bike we’ve been itching to get our hands on — the Ducati 698 Hypermotard Mono. This machine marks a bold new direction for Ducati, and just as importantly, it signals a renewed commitment to the South African market. It’s great to see the brand actively engaging with local media again and giving us proper access to experience their latest machinery.

From there, we made our way down to Cape Town for a memorable coastal ride, teaming up with the passionate crews from Royal Enfield South Africa and Moto Royale. Three distinct motorcycles, two days of riding, and some of the finest roads the country has to offer — it’s the kind of experience that reminds you exactly why we ride, and you can dive into that full story inside this issue.

On the international front, ZXMOTO continues to make serious waves. A sensational double victory in the World Supersport Championship has firmly put them in the spotlight, and in this issue, we take a closer look at the story behind the success — the vision, the determination, and the relentless pursuit of performance at the highest level.

That momentum flows straight into our Dunlop racing pages. Oratilwe Phiri continues to build his international résumé in the TVS one-make series at Sepang, gaining invaluable experience with every outing. Over in MotoAmerica, Mathew Scholtz and Cameron Petersen are flying the South African flag high, while the legendary Le Mans 24 Hour once again delivered endurance racing at its finest, with Sheridan Morais showcasing his class on the world stage.

South African talent remains as strong as ever, and we continue to support the riders who have carried our flag globally — through the highs and the challenges. Names like Brad Binder, Darryn Binder, Cameron Petersen, Mathew Scholtz, Sheridan Morais, Dominic Doyle, Camden McLellan, and Steven Odendaal represent the heart of that effort, and we’re proud to follow their journeys.

Back on home soil, we spent time with Corse Customs in Sandton — a workshop and retailer that continues to push the envelope with standout custom builds. Their recent move into becoming an official QJMOTOR dealership marks the start of an exciting new chapter, and there’s plenty more still to come.

We also stopped in at Clints Scoots, where the passion for two wheels is unmistakable. With a strong lineup that includes brands like Italjet and Vespa, it’s a space that truly reflects the diversity and culture of motorcycling.

As always, thank you for your continued support. Please support those who support us, keep it on two wheels, and stay connected with Moto Rider World across all our platforms.
