Ducati Opens Its Doors to Celebrate Made in Italy National Day

In celebration of Made in Italy National Day, promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Ducati is inviting the public into the heart of its heritage with a special open house at its Factory and Museum in Borgo Panigale, Bologna.

Taking place on Sunday, 19 April, the initiative forms part of “Fabbriche Aperte” (Open Factories), an event organised by the Leonardo Committee to showcase Italy’s manufacturing excellence, technological innovation, and rich industrial culture. For one day only, visitors will have the rare opportunity to step inside Ducati’s production world, completely free of charge.

Guests will be able to join guided Factory tours running from 9:30 a.m. through to 4:30 p.m., available in both Italian and English. These tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at Ducati’s production lines, giving enthusiasts a firsthand view of how the brand’s iconic motorcycles come to life—from concept to completion.

The experience extends beyond the Factory floor, with free access to the Ducati Museum until 6:00 p.m. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in a century of motorcycle history, exploring legendary racing machines and road-going icons that have defined Ducati’s evolution and global reputation. From historic milestones to modern innovation, the exhibition captures the spirit and progression of the brand over nearly 100 years.

With its roots dating back to 1926, Ducati’s story is one of passion, performance, and unmistakable Italian craftsmanship. This open day presents a unique opportunity for fans, families, and curious visitors alike to experience that legacy up close, right where it all began.
Those wishing to attend are encouraged to secure their place in advance by booking through Ducati’s official ticketing platform. The Factory and Museum are located at Via Antonio Cavalieri Ducati 3 in Bologna, ready to welcome visitors for a special day celebrating the very best of Italian engineering and design
