Beta South Africa Ignites the 2026 Season with Powerhouse Hard Enduro Team Announcement

By MRWadmin

Beta South Africa has officially unveiled its 2026 Hard Enduro race team, assembling one of the most formidable line-ups in the sport. Blending proven champions, explosive young talent and respected icons of South African enduro, the team enters the new season with momentum and ambition firmly on its side.

After a dominant 2025 campaign, Beta South Africa builds on a strong foundation of returning riders who delivered exceptional results across national and international stages. Strengthening that core even further, four elite names join the squad for 2026: James Moore, the reigning FIM Junior Hard Enduro World Champion and 2025 Roof of Africa winner; Travis Teasdale, a former National Enduro Champion with extensive international experience; Grant Burton-Durham, the 2025 Silver Roof of Africa winner; and Bevan Prost, an exciting Junior talent with a passion for Super Enduro.

Leading the charge once again is Will Slater, multiple Gold Impi winner and reigning Impi Champion, alongside multi-time champion and current E2 National Enduro Champion Kyle Flanagan. James Moore’s arrival adds world championship pedigree to the roster, while Travis Teasdale’s experience brings invaluable depth to the team. Thomas Scales, a former National Enduro Champion who secured third overall in the 2025 Junior Hard Enduro World Championship, continues his upward trajectory, and David “Davo” Clark returns as the reigning High School National Enduro Champion and 2025 Senqu Gold runner-up. Rounding out the Pro Team is Bevan Prost, balancing his professional racing career with his Matric year, and firmly establishing himself as one of the sport’s most promising young stars.

Beyond the Pro Team, Beta South Africa proudly supports a group of legendary riders whose experience and resilience define the spirit of South African Hard Enduro. William Gillitt, an icon of the sport with 19 Roof of Africa Gold finishes, returns in pursuit of a historic 20th Gold. Multiple National Enduro Champion Alastair Fayrod continues to fly the flag in the “Silver” class, while Grant Burton-Durham adds further strength following his Silver Roof of Africa triumph.

On the international stage, James Moore, Thomas Scales, Davo Clark and Bevan Prost will represent the AG Beta Racing Team alongside Alfredo Gomez, with their primary focus set on the Hard Enduro World Championship, Red Bull Romaniacs and the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo. Their participation underscores Beta’s commitment to competing — and winning — at the highest levels of global Hard Enduro.

Powering the 2026 campaign is Liqui Moly, the global lubrication partner for Beta Motorcycles, delivering the reliability and performance required to conquer some of the world’s most unforgiving terrain.

While international ambitions remain high, Beta South Africa reaffirms its commitment to local and regional competition. The team will continue to compete across key South African events, supporting the growth of the sport and inspiring the next generation of riders.

“At the end of the day, it comes back to the pure joy of riding,” the Beta SA team says. “At Beta, we call that Rideability.”
