BENDA LFC700 – THROTTLE UP, RULE DOWN

By MRWadmin

Benda’s rise in the global motorcycle industry is built on a clear philosophy: visionary industrial design, advanced engineering, and a commitment to creating motorcycles that stand apart. The company considers design one of its most crucial competitive strengths, driven by a team that anticipates evolving aesthetic trends and supported by significant investment in research and development. With an R&D centre in China and an international R&D team based in Europe, Benda combines Eastern ambition with Western technical insight to create motorcycles for a new generation of riders.

This dedication extends to engine development. Benda has long prioritised independent R&D, offering a range of power platforms that includes inline twin-cylinder engines from 125cc to 1000cc. By understanding the demands of contemporary riders—particularly younger enthusiasts—the brand has positioned itself as a trendsetting force with a time-transcending vision. Its goal is simple yet bold: to satisfy, lead, and shape the expectations of modern motorcyclists around the world.

It is from this foundation that the Benda LFC700 emerges—a striking sport-cruiser that represents the pinnacle of the brand’s engineering capability and design ambition. Dominating in presence and performance, the LFC700 stands as one of the most distinctive motorcycles in its class. At its heart is a transversely mounted 676cc inline-four engine, the first of its kind in a production feet-forward cruiser. Producing 84.48 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 60 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, the engine rewards riders with a thrilling, high-revving character. As it climbs to its 10,300 rpm peak, the motor releases a raw, wailing soundtrack from the airbox—an unexpected and exhilarating trait for a cruiser.

The motorcycle’s aggressive, futuristic stance is impossible to ignore. Sharp lines, premium materials, and a long silhouette are paired with a dramatic single-sided swingarm and an immense 310mm rear tyre that enhances both style and stability. Its cast-aluminium frame, 43mm KYB upside-down forks, and KYB adjustable rear shock combine to deliver a balance of control and comfort suited to both relaxed cruising and spirited riding.

Safety and stopping power come from Brembo, with dual 320mm floating discs and four-piston radial calipers up front, supported by a 260mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper. ABS comes standard, providing confidence whether navigating city traffic or stretching the bike’s legs on the open road. Electronic rider aids are intentionally minimal—beyond ABS—reflecting the LFC700’s mechanical purity and rider-focused design philosophy.

Practicality is woven into the bike’s modern features, including a clear five-inch TFT display, all-round LED lighting, a USB-C charging port, and backlit switchgear for improved visibility at night. The relaxed 700mm seat height and ergonomic layout make the LFC700 surprisingly accommodating despite its substantial 287kg curb weight. Combined with a 17-litre fuel capacity and a wheelbase of 1720mm, it offers a stable and comfortable long-distance experience.

In the market, the LFC700 occupies a category of its own. Its engine layout, design direction, and price point—listed at £9,199 new—position it as a unique and accessible alternative to many established cruisers. With no direct rivals matching its displacement, configuration, and bold styling, the LFC700 arrives not as an imitation, but as a declaration of intent from a rapidly evolving brand.

From its visionary design roots to its roaring inline-four performance, the Benda LFC700 embodies the company’s forward-looking ethos. It blends innovation with attitude, engineering with artistry, and presence with purpose. True to its mantra—“Throttle Up, Rule Down”—the LFC700 invites riders to take control, push boundaries, and experience a sport-cruiser unlike anything that has come before.
